We are up to #3 on our roster of the Top 75 Conductors, and here we find the vastly underrated Czech conductor Karel Ančerl, who lived somewhat in the shadow of his compatriots Václav Talich and later Rafael Kubelik, but was instrumental in the shaping of the great tradition of the Czech style of playing orchestral music. Ančerl also left us a treasury of recordings which are well worth exploring.
