At #12 in our alphabetical journey through the top 75 conductors is the enigmatic French composer and conductor Pierre Boulez. Boulez was multitalented, and his career as a composer is perhaps equally noteworthy to his conducting. But for the purposes of this post, we will focus on his conducting career only.
